Sugar Rush 1000 is a slot about location. Clusters of five or more matching sweets pay and mark their squares, a second win on a marked square adds x2, and every further hit doubles it again, up to x1,024. Those spots clear between base-game spins but stay for the whole free spins round, which is where the multipliers have time to grow. Pragmatic publishes the RTP as 96.00%.
What Sugar Rush 1000 Is
Sugar Rush 1000 not on GamStop draws UK players for the same reasons as the rest of Pragmatic's catalogue: wider stake ranges and offshore builds of the game. It plays very differently from the studio's pay-anywhere slots, though. Wins are clusters on a 7×7 board, and the squares they leave behind can turn into multipliers that double with every hit.
The UK Build Against The Offshore One
A UK-licensed casino caps each spin at £5 (£2 for players aged 18 to 24) and is barred from selling a route into the free spins. Offshore sites apply their own limits and often list Sugar Rush 1000 beside the earlier Sugar Rush, so you may see two similar tiles where a British lobby showed one. The rules screen tells you which game and which RTP setting you have.
Pragmatic Play's page gives Sugar Rush 1000 one RTP: 96.00%, half a point under Gates of Olympus. That gap is worth £5 on every £1,000 you stake, on average. The studio also ships many titles in alternative RTP configurations, so look at the info screen at your casino before you play. More on reading that screen in slot RTP explained.
Reading the 7×7 board
Forty-nine squares, sweets dropping in from the top, and a short win rule: five or more matching symbols sitting next to each other form a cluster and pay. Paid clusters are removed, the symbols above slide down, and new ones fill the space until the board settles with nothing left to pay.
Every square that held part of a winning cluster is marked when that cluster explodes. On its own a mark is worth nothing. Its value depends entirely on what lands on top of it next.
How a marked square climbs to x1,024
When a later winning cluster covers a square that is already marked, the square gains a multiplier, and each win across it after that doubles the value:
- First win on the square: it is marked, with no multiplier yet.
- Second win: the square shows x2.
- Third win: x4, followed by x8, x16 and onwards with each further hit.
- The doubling stops at x1,024, the highest value a single square can hold.
Going from x2 to x1,024 takes ten doublings, which means eleven separate wins landing on the same square. The multiplier counts towards every winning cluster that forms over it, and a cluster covering several multiplier squares takes all of them into account; the rules screen sets out exactly how they combine.
Why the free spins carry the weight
In the base game, marks and multipliers are wiped after every spin, so a square rarely has time to climb far. Three or more scatters change that. They award at least 10 free spins, and for the length of the round every marked square keeps its position and its multiplier.
That persistence is the point of the bonus. A square sitting at x4 on the second free spin can still be there at x64 or more by the end if wins keep landing across it. Three or more scatters during the round add spins, giving the board longer to build. Many rounds still end with a handful of low multipliers in play, and you should treat that as the usual result.
What 96.00% means in pounds
Sugar Rush 1000's published RTP is lower than the figures Pragmatic gives for Gates of Olympus or Sweet Bonanza, so it is worth turning the gap into money. The table shows the average cost of £1,000 of turnover, for example 500 spins at £2, at each game's published rate:
| Game | Published RTP | Average cost of £1,000 staked |
|---|---|---|
| Sugar Rush 1000 | 96.00% | £40.00 |
| Sweet Bonanza | 96.48% | £35.20 |
| Gates of Olympus | 96.50% | £35.00 |
These are long-run averages. Individual sessions finish far above or below them, and a few hundred spins tell you very little about which way yours will go. The RTP cost calculator reruns the sums at your own stake.
Sugar Rush 1000 at casinos not on GamStop
Outside the UK system the cluster maths stays put. What changes is the casino around it: wider stake ranges, possibly a different RTP configuration and, on some builds, a purchase option for the free spins. Pragmatic's page for this title does not list a feature buy, so if a lobby shows one, read its price inside the game before deciding. Buying the bonus pushes your results further from the average in both directions and leaves the 96.00% where it was.
